Menu Price Editor — Live Demo
This is the editor experience every QrDishes plan includes. Type a price on the left and watch the phone screen on the right update instantly — the same screen a guest sees after scanning a table code.
Demo mode: prices start at sample values; nothing is saved. On a real account, changes apply to every table code at once.

How this works on a real plan
- You edit the price once on your menu page — no designer, no print shop.
- Every table code updates together. Guests scanning at any table see the new price on the live menu page.
- The printed QR codes never change. No reprints, no new stickers — the squares stay the same forever.
Free plan includes this editor and unlimited table codes; Pro adds per-table scan stats, no watermark, and A4 print-ready sheets. See pricing.
What to try in this demo
- Edit any price in the left panel, in $0.50 steps, and watch the guest phone update the instant you type. The same price field is what you get on a real menu page.
- Change a description — the demo shows one row per item, but on a real menu you edit names, descriptions, and availability the same way prices work here.
- Reset the sample prices any time with the button below the panel. Nothing you change is saved or sent anywhere.
- Compare with the guest view — the phone on the right is exactly the page a customer opens after scanning a table code: item name, short description, and price, mobile-first.
Why editing prices live matters
A printed menu commits you to the prices on paper. Specials change, ingredient costs move, a dish sells out mid-service — with a printed menu each change means a reprint, a sticker, or a verbal correction at the table. A live menu page removes that entire class of work: the price you want your guests to see is the price they see, as of the moment you save it.
The QR code itself is permanent. Guests scan the same squares printed at the table; the page behind the code is what you control. That is the difference between a static code pointing at a fixed file and a dynamic table-code setup: read the static vs dynamic guide for the full comparison.
Frequently asked questions
Does the demo save anything?
No. Prices start at sample values each time you load the page, and resetting restores them. The demo is purely a preview of the editor; nothing is stored on your device or our servers.
Is this the same editor I get on the Free plan?
Yes. Editing prices from a browser is included on every plan, including Free — one restaurant, one menu, unlimited table codes. Pro adds per-table scan stats, no watermark, and A4 print-ready sheets.
What do guests see when they scan a table code?
The phone screen on the right. A lightweight menu page loads in the browser in under a second — no app to install. See the full sample menu page for a complete example, including categories and a wider dish list.
